FOR INTELLIBOARD ADMIN: Instructor Dashboard Permissions

This page maps the Instructor Dashboard Setting with the feature's actual location in the Instructor Dashboard and then provide a detailed explanation of the feature. 

From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Settings

Important Reminders:

  • After it is enabled, the Instructor Dashboard is automatically associated with the [Teacher] Role in the LMS System.
  • Please note that your organization must have an IntelliBoard subscription of Level 4 or higher to access the Learner Dashboard. 

SETTINGS: INSTRUCTOR DASHBOARD

Enable Instructor Dashboard under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > Intelliboard Settings > Instructor Dashboard. NOTE: Instructor Dashboard can be enabled only from Main Admin Account.

This group of settings is related to Instructor Dashboard Customization.

Dashboard Page - will enable Instructor Dashboard for Instructors.

Course Page - will allow Instructors to have and view courses that they are assigned to.

Report Page - will allow Instructors to utilize IntelliBoard report in their Instructor Dashboard.

Analytics Page - will allow Instructors to utilize IntelliBoard Monitors that will display Analytics.

Enabling Overview Monitor under Instructor Dashboard will allow Instructor to track Learner Progress, Grade and Activity Progress and Course overview.

Calendar - Instructor will be able to select needed date range to track Progress in his/hers courses.

Enrolled and Completed will show # of Enrolled Learners to the course and # of completed learners.

Hover over blue bars and it will display Instructors Courses and # on enrolled Learners. Hover over green line and see # on completed Learner in each course.

Data in blue box is displaying total numbers of courses that are assigned to the instructor, total number of learners that are assigned to the Instructor and total grades in courses.

 Enabling Current Progress and Total Students Overviews will allow Instructors to see how many Learners Completed Courses, how many didn't complete Courses and the Learner Average Grade in Courses.

 Enabling Correlation will display the learner's course grade verse time spent.

 Enabling Learner Engagement will display learners' attempts in selected Course in specific time range.

 Enabling Student Grade Progression will display Student's grade progress during specific period of time.

 Enabling Event Utilization will display learners total time spent on course events.

 Enabling Activity Utilization will display total time spent on activities in specific course during specific period of time.

 Enabling Topic Utilization will display total total time spent on topics in specific course during specific period of time.

Graded Activities Overview will display average grade in the activities in specific course. Exporting in CSV, XLS, PDF is also available by clicking on icons in orange box.

 

SETTINGS: INSTRUCTOR DASHBOARD COURSES

Enabling Courses tab under Instructor Dashboards will allow Instructors to see his courses and track progress.

Enabling columns in Instructor Dashboard Courses tab will allow instructor:

Course Name - will allow Instructors to see their Courses names.

Short name - will allow Instructors to see the short names of their courses.

Category - will allow Instructors to see the Category of their courses.

Enrolled/Completed Learners - will allow Instructors to see numbers on enrolled users in their courses and completed users among enrolled ones.

Percentage of completed users - will allow Instructors to see the percentage of  completed users in courses.

Course average grade - will allow Instructors to see average grades in their courses.

Sections - will allow Instructors to see sections to related course.

Activities/Resources -  will allow Instructors to see activities and resources in their courses.

Visits - will allow Instructors to see total number of visits in courses.

Time spent - will allow Instructors to see total time spent in courses.

Average visits per student - will allow Instructors to see average number of visits in courses.

Average time spent per student - will allow Instructors to see average time spent per user in courses.

Enabling Actions will allow Instructor to select Learners and Activities. By Clicking on Learners will open to Instructor new window with information about Learners course enrollments, progress, actions and Grades in activities.

Actions > Learners will need to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > Instructor Dashboards > Instructor Courses > Learners.

Learners Grades will needs to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > Instructor Dashboards > Instructor Courses > Learners > Grades.

Enabling Actions will allow Instructor to select Learners and Activities. By Clicking on Activities it will open new window with list of all Activities related to the specific Course. New tab will display activity progress, submission, grades, status, visits, time spent. 

Actions > Activities will need to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > Instructor Dashboards > Instructor Course > Activities.

Activities Grades will need to be enabled under Site Administration > Plugins > Local Plugins > IntelliBoard Settings > Instructor Dashboards > Instructor Course > Activities > Grades

 

SETTINGS: INSTRUCTOR DASHBOARD REPORTS

Reports Tab can be available for Instructors only if Main Intelliboard Account will enable it. There are two ways to enable Reports for Instructors:

1. Under Settings + Options > LMS: Visibility > Reports - Select reports for Instructor Dashboard.

2. Make reports visible directly from reports. Go to desired Report > Personalize report > Visible in LMS.

 

SETTINGS: INSTRUCTOR DASHBOARD MONITORS

Monitor Tab can be available for Instructors only if Main Intelliboard Account will enable it. There are two ways to enable Monitors for Instructors:

1. Under Settings + Options > LMS: Visibility: Monitors - Select Monitors for Instructor Dashboard.

2. Make Monitors visible directly from Monitor Sets. Go to desired Monitor Set > Personalize Monitor Set > Visible in LMS.
