NOTE: Prior using the Competency Dashboard, competencies must be enabled at the system-level. Additionally, competency frameworks must be created, enabled, and assigned.
NOTE: Prior using the Competency Dashboard, Teacher role must be enabled at the system-level. This can be done in 2 steps:
1. under Moodle > Site Administration > Users > Permissions > Define Roles > Teacher role > Context types where this role may be assigned - make sure System is enabled.
2. under Moodle > Site Administration > Users > Permissions > Assign System Roles > Teacher - make sure that teacher is added to the teacher role in system context.
The Competency Dashboard is automatically associated with the [Admin] and [Teacher] system roles in the LMS System. Instructors will be able to review the competencies associated with their courses only and do not need an additional IntelliBoard account. The Administrator will have site-wide competency access.

Enabling the Competency Dashboard
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Settings
Subscription: Ensure the email that is associated with the IntelliBoard.Net subscription is correctly entered. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.

Rename and Enable the Competency Dashboard
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Settings
Scroll down the settings page to "Competency Dashboard".
1. Renaming: To personalize the Competency Dashboard name to best meet your organization's terminology, change the name in the text box. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
2: Enabling: To enable the Competency Dashboard for all users in your LMS system with the [Teacher] Role and the Admin Role, make sure the check box is clicked. To disable the Competency Dashboard for all users in the LMS system, make sure the check box is not clicked. Click "Save changes" in your LMS system.
Competency Dashboard Permissions
From the ADMINISTRATION block in your LMS system, click through the following: Site Administration > Plugins > Local plugins > IntelliBoard.net Plugin > Settings
From Settings, scroll to the Competency Dashboard Header.
Enabling and disabling the specific components of the Competency Dashboard will change the Competency Dashboard for everyone. While the data within the Competency Dashboard will change based off the specific user, the template for the Competency Dashboard remains the same.
If the check box is clicked, the item is enabled for all with Competency Dashboard access. If the check box is not clicked, the item is disabled.
