IntelliBoard's Permit feature allows you, the IntelliBoard Admin (main subscriber), to give certain people credentialed access to IntelliBoard.net where they will have permission to review certain data sets within certain reports.
Before you get started...
- Permit functionality begins with a Level 4 IntelliBoard subscription; please review access and number of accounts here.
- Permit, managed by the IntelliBoard Admin, consists of two components: 1) Organizational Role (Template of Reports) and 2) IB user Account (Credentialed Access and Data Set Permissions).
- You must create an Organizational Role BEFORE creating an IB user account.

How do I allow IB user accounts to see a their data inside Canvas?
After you have created an Organizational Role and an IB user account, a IB user account user may utilize his/her IntelliBoard account through Canvas.
Most importantly, the Canvas User's email and the IntelliBoard IB user's account email must match.
STEP 1: ENSURE CONNECTION

STEP 3: CREATE ORGANIZATIONAL ROLE WITH INTELLIBOARD'S PERMIT FEATURE
Inside IntelliBoard, use the Permit feature to create an Organizational Role. Click here for additional information.
STEP 4: CREATE A IB USER ACCOUNT WITH INTELLIBOARD'S PERMIT FEATURE
Inside IntelliBoard, after you've created an Organizational Role, create an IB user account. NOTE: The IB user Account's email and the user's email in Canvas must match. Click here for more information.
STEP 5: CHECK CANVAS
Ensure the user is in Canvas. Confirm the Canvas User and the IntelliBoard IB user account have matching emails.
STEP 6: LOG ON AS CANVAS USER
Log on as the Canvas User who has the IB user Account with IntelliBoard. Click IntelliBoard Reports & Analytics from the Navigation Bar and the Dashboard will appear!
