LTI Connection: Moodle LMS

Before connecting LTI,

Please follow the steps in order to set up the initial connection:

Once it is done navigate to my Connections and hit "Edit"mceclip0.png

“Advanced Settings”> Url, key and secret will be used while creating LTI

Create LTI Connection inside Moodle

  • Log in as a Moodle Administrator  

  • Navigate to  Site administration> Plugins>Local Plugins>IntelliData

  • Scroll down and find IB Next LTI

Return to Next.IntelliBoard.net > Connection > Edit> Open Advanced setting and  

  • Copy and Paste URL 
  • Copy and Paste Consumer Key 
  • Copy and Paste Consumer Secret

  • into respective fields in moodle

  • Click on the “Save changes“ button

Currently, users with the following roles are able to utilize LTI: teacher and student can use LTI.
In order for a user to be able to use LTI associated IntelliBoard user account needs to be created in IntelliBoard.
 

Go to the Next Intelliboard> IB users> Sync>

Choose Connection > Select LMS Role> Select Organizational Role> pick user  from the list and click Sync User

  • Once Sync is done hit 'Got to user page"

FINISHED! LTI is set up and your IB users are ready to see your Moodle LMS data!
